Sabine is senior IPR adviser of the project service office situated within the University of Innsbruck. In addition, she has presented at several seminars and holds a lectureship in Intellectual Property Rights at the University of Innsbruck, the Medical University of Innsbruck and the Private University of Health Sciences, Medical Informatics and Technology in Hall.
Sabine was trained in Pharmacy and Biology at the University of Innsbruck with several research stays at the University of Barcelona and the Istituto Italiano di Idrobiologia in Pallanza, Italy. Alongside her Master and PhD in Biology, Sabine gained a diploma degree in mediation.
After several years in research, Sabine was head of the drinking water analysis lab at the Medical University of Innsbruck and project manager at a civil engineering company. After that she returned to the University of Innsbruck and has more than 11 years’ experience in the protection and commercialization of research results, in contract negotiation as well as in the support for university spin-offs in questions related to IP.
In addition, she is involved in the improvement of IP related strategies of university’s rectorate.
